My name is Heather Strowd and I specialize in first time home buyers in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. I am also a licensed real estate agent in South Carolina.

With an extensive background in Interior Design, in 2008 I began a new career in Real Estate. Entering into real estate at the bottom of the market, I viewed the timing as an excellent opportunity to learn all about the real estate market and it’s regulations and practices while I gained valuable experience. I knew that with lots of hard work this would be a positive learning experience, and that my career would advance as I refined my knowledge and skills and the market began its upswing. Although my area of expertise is first time home buyers, I prove to be the right choice for a buyer or seller. My formal training and experience in interior design has provided me with a unique skill set that has proven valuable in helping my clients with the sale or purchase of their home. Knowledge of general construction and design styles has proven helpful in assisting buyers in making the right choices to suit their individual needs. For sellers, my interior design background allows me to advise and assist them in staging their home in the best possible way to attract potential buyers and bring the seller an offer for their property.

I was born and raised in the rural town of Flemington, New Jersey. I moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1991 to attend the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) and study Interior Design. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree from SCAD, I moved to Charlotte to begin my career in Interior Design. I worked for several years in commercial design and supported a wide range of projects including several well known local and national businesses. I have lived in Charlotte for the last 13 years and have good knowledge of the different areas in and around the city. I now reside south of the city on Lake Wylie which also affords me easy access to clients and communities in South Carolina as well as North Carolina. I have a wonderful husband of 10 years and a terrific Newfie named Boone. When I am not helping others buy or sell real estate we love to travel. And Boone is always right there with us.
