A while back I had the opportunity of spending the afternoon touring Sun City Carolina Lakes, a 55 and older community. Located just 25 miles south of Uptown Charlotte in Lancaster, SC and 25 miles from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

It was evident to see what was so amazing about this community. Sun City Carolina Lakes offers something for everyone. There are over 100 different clubs like bunco, a wine club, golf and pickle ball just to name a few.

Then there are all the indoor and outdoor amenities- a 40,000 square foot club house, fitness facility, pool tables, pottery facility, indoor heated pool, on-site restaurant, tennis courts, bocce ball and pickle ball courts, gardeners facility, fishing piers, walking trails and many more.

Sun City Carolina Lakes offers attached and single family residences. The Villa Collection is Sun City's attached housing and has three different plans to choose from- Kenwood, Lakeshore and Muirfield. All the plans in the Villa Collection are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a 2 car garage. There are 4 collections available in single family homes. Those are The River, The Summit, The Summit Loft and The Manor Collections. There are 14 different plans to choose from between these four collections.
